Enthusiastic and keen to learn, Michael brings his A-game to every project that he works on. As an up and coming architectural graduate, Michael is an integral part of the studio supporting a number of projects at any one time.

Not afraid to come to work in a knitted teddy bear jumper, Michael’s confidence also shines through in his work, with an excellent ability to interpret intent, and a methodical approach to applying it to the documentation he works up.

Michael knows the standard that is expected at VIA, having done his university work experience at the studio. The invaluable knowledge that Michael developed as a student inspired his work helping deliver VIA’s student induction program which is aimed at assisting aspiring architects experience the real world of working in architecture. Working while studying has given Michael unrivalled on the job training and he transfers his experience and knowledge to all of his projects.

A self-confessed foodie and sneakerholic, Zumbo, as he is known to the team, is always in search for Melbourne best brunch spot or burger joint and a bargain pair of Air Jordans.
