An enthusiastic Architect and an integral part of the VIA studio team, Michael brings his A-game to every project he works on.
Not afraid to come to work in a knitted teddy bear jumper, this bravery and ‘out of the box’ thinking is consistently reflected in his work, through an outstanding ability to interpret intent and a methodical approach to applying it to the documentation he works up.
Having joined VIA as a work experience student and continuing to work throughout his university studies, Michael understands the standard of work expected at VIA and brings this unrivalled on-the-job training and experience to every one of his projects.
It also informs his work in the development of VIA’s student induction program, a program that aims to assist aspiring architects gain real world architectural experience.
A self-confessed foodie and sneakerholic, Zumbo, as he is known to the team, is always in search for Melbourne best brunch spot or burger joint and a bargain pair of Air Jordans.
