Graeme Heatley
Bringing over 20 years of diverse design experience, Graeme Heatley stands as an accomplished architectural leader. His methodology incorporates sustainable design and market-focused outcomes, embracing the principles of good design to shape user-centric environments.
Originally hailing from Northern Ireland, Graeme has left an indelible mark on renowned practices throughout his career, contributing to noteworthy projects in both Australia and the UK. His work on international design collaborations and competitions has further enhanced his skillset, making him a dynamic force in the field.
In his role at VIA, Graeme leads large mixed-use teams and fosters lasting client relationships. As an enthusiastic mentor to emerging talent, he actively contributes to various facets of practice management, encompassing studio leadership and operations.
Graeme holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and a Bachelor of Architecture (First Class Honours). His professional standing is further solidified through memberships with Architects Registration Board (ARB-UK) and Architects Registration Board of Victoria (ARB-V).
Outside of the studio, Graeme enjoys challenging his mind in escape rooms and has a keen interest in the Eurovision Song Contest. With his calm and thoughtful demeanour and innate curiosity, Graeme brings a unique set of talents to the VIA team.
