Bespoke luxury in a heritage context

Stretching back from this tree-lined street in Kew, our client envisioned high end, bespoke family living that could encompass two generations balancing privacy with proximity.

Delivering light and expanse right through the middle of the form, the five bedroom residences are unapologetically indulgent both in proportion and appointment with wine cellars, gyms, triple parking and home cinemas, wrapped through three floors.

The elongated building sees a long colonnade adjacent to the living spaces leading to the entrance and enticing a welcome with timber and landscaping used in tandem to soften and unify. The entrance is grand with a curved stair through a double volume void, crowned by a substantial sky window.

From the street, the form of the residences is read horizontally with contrasting materiality defining each floor. The curvature softens the approach, and seemingly hovers above the living spaces below.
