NEXTDC’s digital infrastructure platform enables secure and seamless access to cloud platforms. Our studio played a crucial role in supporting NEXTDC during the multistage delivery of the M2 Melbourne data centre facility expansion.

Strategically located in Tullamarine, close to major transport and telecommunications infrastructure, M2 Melbourne showcases the latest in engineering innovation and design excellence, achieving an Uptime Institute Tier IV Certification of Constructed Facility (TCCF).

In close collaboration with Kapitol Group, we have brought our diverse expertise to the forefront and contributed to the successful realisation of this project through design innovation. We eliminated the need for traditional columns by incorporating prefabricated modular designs and utilising precast core modules and super T bridge beam superstructures. This not only enhances structural integrity, but also maximises the centre’s Net Lettable Area (NLA) while providing unmatched flexibility in data rack layout and arrangement.
