VIA is excited to announce our official partnership with RISING 2025, Melbourne’s premier festival of new art, music and performance, taking place from June 4 to 15. This collaboration reflects our continued commitment to supporting Melbourne’s creative sector and engaging with the city’s boldest cultural ideas.

As a major partner in 2024, we had the chance to fully immerse ourselves in RISING’s eclectic lineup of eye-opening, thought-provoking and delightfully unexpected performances. From multi-sensory activations to atmospheric soundscapes, the events were as fun and engaging as they were creatively energising. We’re looking forward to more of that this year.

The 2025 RISING program continues the festival’s tradition of challenging perceptions and expanding the boundaries of how art can be experienced. From large-scale installations to more intimate encounters, this year’s lineup brings together a compelling mix of local and international talent across disciplines.

One standout is Swingers, a unique transformation of the Flinders Street Station Ballroom into a playable mini-golf course, with each hole designed by a different female artist. Equal parts art and surrealism, it’s a playful reminder that creative expression doesn’t always have to follow the rules.
