BREAKING NEW GROUND IN DESIGN // VIA ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF TWO NEW ASSOCIATES

VIA Architects is proud to announce the appointment of Graeme Heatley and Luke Bonham as Associates, marking a significant expansion of the studio’s senior leadership team. With their diverse talents and global perspectives, Graeme and Luke each bring invaluable expertise that will further propel VIA’s mission to push architectural boundaries and continue shaping the future of design.

“2023 was a monumental year for VIA. From securing multiple award wins to forging new strategic partnerships, we celebrated a year of growth and success,” said Frank Bambino, VIA’s Managing Director.

“As we reflected on these accomplishments, it became evident that our commitment to architectural excellence necessitated the expansion of our senior leadership team,” Frank explained.

Graeme Heatley is an accomplished architectural leader with over 20 years of design experience. He has worked across notable projects in Australia and the UK and contributed to international design collaborations and competitions, demonstrating his passion for architectural innovation at a global scale. His strategic leadership expertise in practice operations will be instrumental in shaping the studio’s future trajectory.

DIVERSE DESIGN EXPERIENCE WITH A PASSION FOR MENTORSHIP

Luke Bonham brings over 15 years of architectural experience to the studio, having worked within renowned firms in Canberra, Sydney, and Melbourne, designing projects across Australia and abroad. Luke holds a Green Star accreditation and is proficient in various project typologies. His expertise in masterplanning, particularly in creating sustainable and community-centric spaces, aligns seamlessly with VIA’s human-led approach to design. Luke’s knowledge, talents and dedication to mentorship will provide invaluable guidance to our team.
