In response to COVID-19, VIA Architects is here to help more than ever.

At VIA Architects our message has always been simple; we are human first. And now more than ever, we are truly joining forces to do our part to especially support the elderly community in aged care and retirement living facilities, as well as the broader community with safe environments, in light of the Coronavirus (COVID-19).
Due to the current global crisis, we have been working closely with our existing client Clarinda Manor, to firstly review the communal spaces and staff areas in their facility, to ensure these spaces respect the newly appointed social distancing requirements implemented by the Australian Government. Furthermore, we are assisting with a contingency plan to identify the opportunity and necessary procedures required to create an isolation wing as a precautionary measure in order to reduce any potential risk of an outbreak, should any of their residents present with flu like symptoms.
Our thorough appreciation of aged care and retirement living operational needs coupled with the rigour approach we undertake enables our team to promptly adapt to the challenges in which this unprecedented climate is presenting. As a result, we are working relentlessly and channelling our immediate energy, to create spaces that will help protect the health and well-being of the elderly, the people around them and the extended communities.
Delivering architecture that responds to real human needs has always been in our DNA and given this unsettling period we are all facing, our priority is to assist those in need of designing or redesigning facilities which aim to mitigate risk and predominately stop the spread of COVID-19.
At VIA Architects we are committed to doing our part to protect our community. Therefore, if you require additional information relating to how we can be of assistance in preparing your facility to combat the present issue at hand, please reach out to us and we will endeavour to respond to your enquiry at our earliest convenience.
