Aligning with the recent release of our global insights summary and our ongoing dedication to meeting the evolving needs of a new ageing demographic, we’re pleased to share our newest project appointment. Continuing our partnership with Palm Lake Resort, our studio has been appointed to design the masterplan and architecture of its latest lifestyle community in Dundowran Beach, Hervey Bay.

Expanding on our successful collaboration on multiple large-scale Palm Lake Resort projects, including Pelican Waters, Paynesville and Yamba – all on track for a 2024 completion – this project will be underpinned by our shared ethos of fostering active and engaged lifestyles for retirees. Covering approximately 460,000m2 and situated close to the beachfront, Palm Lake Hervey Bay aims to redefine the convention of senior’s living to foster health and prosperity.

This new addition to the Palm Lake Resort portfolio embraces a holistic approach to lifestyle community design, with wellness remaining at the forefront of our architectural approach. Palm Lake Hervey Bay embodies our dedication to crafting environments that seamlessly blend luxury and functionality, creating a resort-style living experience for its future residents.

The project masterplan emphasises purposeful elements, from premium single and double-story homes to the inclusion of aged care facilities that will allow residents to comfortably age in place. The Clubhouse will serve as a central hub for a calendar of social activities, complemented by a health and wellness centre and meandering boardwalks through natural wetlands—a testament to our commitment to respecting and enhancing a site’s existing context.

Our studio is proud to continue our ongoing partnership with Palm Lake Resort to create Palm Lake Hervey Bay. We are determined to create a community that goes beyond expectations, offering a pragmatic yet holistic lifestyle tailored to the desires of senior residents.
